I bombed the math level 2 today

First of all how do some of you know how many you got wrong? You may know if you got a certain one wrong but you can’t know you answered the rest correctly can you?

I hadn’t taken any practice test before this and I though it was harder than I expected. On that stupid charity one I skipped at first b/c I knew it would require time so at teh end when i went back I first read it as both the 15% and the $100 being at teh beginning of the year then i realized I was wrong and took 15% in the beginning and added 100 at the end and then i realized it was subtracting 100 not adding so by the time I knew how to do it the proctor called time…damn. I left 6 blank and so far know of one wrong(that amplitude one). Can anyone explain that matrice thing, the one that looked like a two level equation i have nvr seen before?

the matrix one is common sense with a twist. if you really look at it, the two matrices subtract each other and the numbers match up on the other side of the equation. i think i got -3 as my answer because it was like x - 4x = 9 or something like that. hope i explained this well enough. PM me if you need clarification.

This test kicked my butt =/. Left like 9 blank, and probably missed a few. Predicting like 700+, but not sure. Low 700’s anyways :(.

Edit: Should I cancel and retake, or just retake if I’m trying to app at higher end colleges? If I cancel it also kills my history test which I think I got an 800 on, and my Physics test, which I’m feeling was high 700’s (only left 7 blank).

Yes, the answer was -3 for the matrix one

^Haha yeah it’s -3. I plugged the answers into my calculator.

I have no idea what a matrix is and i have nvr seen an equation like that before so i had no idea what to do so i skipped.

I can do a determinant of the matrix… we do it like everyday in Calc 3 but i have NO idea how to subtract them

On an interesting side note, I thought the ones about the charity and the bees spreading were easy. You just plugged them in on your calculator and they took like 15-20 seconds (the bee one took like 5). Was the actual math for them difficult or something?

I just made a recursive equation and plugged in 4 as the x value

Damn that was hard!

Should I cancel math II. It was the only test I took today and I lef 7 blank and got 2 wrong.

^NO! Math II is known for having a very good curve. Don’t cancel.

GRRRRRRR..
so i htought for sure i got 2 wrong (after 4 blank)
then i come on here

and know i got 2 wrong…

except those 2 were not the two that I expected…which means it’ll be 4+ wrong…mothaf.

what would a raw of 38-40 be?

kampalaca, that’s like a 770…don’t cancel.

ptoncollege09,
40~ 780
38 ~ 750

when do we find out scores?

in about 3 weeks.

SAT site says Oct. 23, so pretty soon.

Ok, I’m really glad I’m not the only one that thought this test was hard.

It wasn’t technically hard for me (I knew how to do every single problem) so much as I ran out of time =/

4 blank and 1 wrong for sure…possible 1-2 stupid mistakes. Hopefully my luck holds from my past Chemistry where I missed like -6 and got 800…

Does the plane intersect at a line or a line and a point?

A line and a point.
