I just bought these today (I have already done practice tests from Official ACT Book):

Barrons ACT: http://www.amazon.com/ACT-16th-Edition-ebook/dp/B004VA9V78

McHraw-Hill's 10 Practice Tests (3rd edition): http://www.amazon.com/McGraw-Hills-Practice-Tests-Third-Edition/dp/0071736972

Sparknotes ACT Math&Science and English&Reading:

So I have looked online, and apparently the Hill-Mcgraw isn't very good, or at least people say, and at least of the older editions (I could only find posts from 2007-2009, so may have changed).

I took the ACT first time back in June and scored a 28 (24 math, 28 english, 30 reading, 31 science, 8 on essay). My goal is at least a 30, but I want a 32+. I am sure I can make AT LEAST a 30. I just dropped the ball on the math section. Hard.

Can anyone tell me anything about these books and their experience with them? Or suggest others? I haven't written in any yet, especially the Mcgraw one, so if need be I can take them back.

I would rather have the material be harder now and have the ACT be a breeze.

So far I have heard from people online:

Sparknotes: Pretty good
Mcgraw: Crap
Barrons: Good (But I didn't get the 36 edition, what is the difference, and should I?)
