i bought the Official SAT Studyguide published by Collegeboard and did a few papers and to my surpirse, i got really bad scores! i was wondering if the actual SATs were as hard as those in the book. it'd be helpful if you could tell me your sat score ranges after you used the book too! thnx!

Well I took those practice tests and did kinda badly too. Guess we'll find out in June!

the actual SAT is very similar in MATH.

For CR however, the vocab is harder and the critical reading is based on your luck. Pray god.

And well writing its pretty standard cuz there's really nothing much you can change about standard writing rules....the only thing that might sucks is if there are lots of idiom and usage / "innate grammar" questions. I guess if that happens, its statistically a max of like 4 or 5 on the whole test. And there will proabably be like 1 or 2 REALLY HARD ONE of these 4 or 5.

Hope that helps.

and well essay prompt...I think that stupid NY times article made graders become more wary of LENGTH factor and now they are looking MORE for quality rather than quantity and structure only.

oh no! this means i have to memorise more vocab?? i find the practice papers hard enough!! omg... i cannot imgaine what i will get for my june exam!

i get like 650s on them.

im doing the last 7 tests before the June one. as long as I can get a 700 in all three sections, I'll be happy.
I've read here that the tests in the blue CB book are harder.

wait.. you're telling me there are two kinds?? i thought there was one book. lol. is the harder one thick or thin?
