<p>Hey everyone, I have been trying to access Stanford's Apply Online, so that I can submit my application today, but it isn't working! The title comes up as Online Application Login on Internet Explorer, and the page is simply blank. It says its loading, but it has been doing so for the past hour! I have tried refreshing the page around 50 times, to no avail.</p>

<p>maybe your internet connection is messed up for some reason. try accessing it at school or from another building. good luck</p>
<p>this happend to me when I was using Internet Explorer as well...change to Mozilla Firefox</p>

<p>Okay, I accessed it from a different source...I have a few questions though.</p>
<p>My third short essay is 3300 characters, where as the limit is 1500 characters. The problem is, I am finding it very hard to shorten because almost every word is critical in detailing the story that I am aiming to tell. Do you think that Stanford will look down, and maybe even ignore, my essay if I submit the first 1500 characters of it in the required space, and the rest in the attached Long Essay document?</p>
<p>I don't think they'll be too happy, and the last thing you want to do is irritate them..</p>
