Or you could just ignore this and do the best you can?

I’m not trying to scoff at them, I’m not jealous or anything, I don’t care. I’m happy where I am in my life from all aspects. I’m definitely not saying I should be higher, because I haven’t worked hard enough, and I’m ok with that. I’m just saying, sometimes the highest ranked people are just stupid. And I’m sorry to put it that way.

Also, of course 1800 is a good score, but we’re on CC here. Anything below a 2350 is worth crying about.

He just mentioned actually intelligence in someone, so I explained through the scores the kind of people around here.

I’m really not trying to be attacked or start a fight. But when the #9 ranked student asks me what absolute value means, or when #22 asks me what the formula for area of a circle is…I just jump to conclusions.

The scary thing is that people who get a 1500 are still “smarter” (better at taking the SAT) than 50% of people.

Ain’t that the truth.

“But when the #9 ranked student asks me what absolute value means, or when #22 asks me what the formula for area of a circle is”

The way you view people as numbers is kind of icky. How do you know their ranks anyway?
I don’t see the ability to memorize definitions/formulas as having much to do with intelligence (although “absolute value” is kind of self-defining). Knowing the formula offhand is less important than knowing how to derive it.

Just stop now Complik. :|

You people…
I write them as numbers as to keep their identities private, they’ve told me their ranks personally. (I’ve known most of them over 6 years).

And I don’t see how 1500 is average, I’ve only know like 3 people who’ve ever gotten that low.

And I’m just saying, if someone can’t remember the formula of a circle which we’ve done since like 6th grade, please explain to me why they should be in the top 4%

Stahp, Complik.

This is why you aren’t in the top 4%.

Noooo, I’m not in top 4% because I don’t do homework lol

I still don’t know how to add vectors after AP Calculus and AP Physics and I would be Sal if my school ranked, so I don’t see your point. Also equation for the area of a sphere; who knows what that is?

This complik kid…
If you really did score above a 2000 (probably lying), then you probably are smarter than your top two ranks who failed to score as high as you. You shouldn’t be mad or jealous of them for outperforming you in school just because you’re lazy. School isn’t supposed to be an indicator of intelligence, you are supposed to attend school to learn – not to compare yourself to others. And the way you disrespect your peers and the other classmates sets a negative tone to how you will someday work in the workforce; I can’t imagine success coming from a kid who can’t respect or work with superiors, even if the parent was successful. All this Complik kid does is hate…

Can you clearly define why you’re posting on this other than to ■■■■■ and hate those who strive to improve?

You are an idiot. You know nothing of me or my scores, and you can’t even take the time to completely read my post. If you had taken more than 10 seconds reading, you would understand what I’m actually talking about. Not comparing myself to others. You ignorant fool who knows nothing with what you discuss and criticize.

I am posting because I am curious if you all feel that grades are a poorest indicator of intelligence. You clearly don’t understand. Thank you for your time.

Please state why you came here to ■■■■■ before CC permanently bans you for this behavior. You are calling others dumb for constructive criticism and attacking the individuals posting. How can you back up these claims of prestige when filth spews from your mouth?

Yeah grades are a bad indicator of intelligence, but there is some correlation between intelligence and grades – which explains why your grades are bad.

Well this escalated quickly…

Can we report Complik? He’s so mean to everyone.

Both of you guys are blowing this out of proportion.

This thread has reached its potential. Everyone should stop while they’re ahead.
