I can't believe I'm actually doing this BUT...

You have amazing SAT scores, awards, ECs, GPA, and leadership. You are also an URM. You have very high chances at every school you listed.

i think you’ll get in if you ED at Brown! nothing really holding ya back… good luck

i think you should try to get recruited through rowing. but that’s my 2 cents

Brown: - mid reach
Columbia mid reach
UChicago mid reach
Northwestern low reach
UC Berkeley match
Pomona match
Claremont-McKenna match
Williams low reach
Bowdoin-idk
Tufts- in
Reed-in
NYU-match
Whitman-match
UCLA- in
Cornell-low reach
McGill -no clue

Your EC’s are outstanding. You come off as a very interesting person, which is why you will probably have very good luck in the application process. Your other stats are on par with those who got accepted in these schools. Your Sat is slightly higher, but your junior year is slightly lower, so it balances out. However, you had mono, which is a plus (that sounds messed up doesn’t it).

Anyways, you have a great shot at every single one of these schools. These are my predictions:

Brown: mid reach
Columbia: mid reach
UChicago: In, as long as you write a really good essay.
Northwestern: low reach
UC Berkeley: in
Pomona: high match/low reach
Claremont-McKenna: I would say in, but I don’t really know much about what this school looks for.
Williams:in
Bowdoin:no idea
Tufts:in
Reed:idk
NYU:in, it’s not as selective as most people say it is. Your in like the 75th percentile at least for its admitted students, and again, your ec’s are outstanding.
Whitman: no idea
UCLA:in
Cornell:low reach
McGill:in

I think the diversity of your activities shows that only a place like brown with no general ed would be able to accomodate your varied interests, Hammer that idea home and you should be set. i dont know if you’ll b able to put everything here on the app, so pick the best ones. the others schools should all be solid except columbia, too strange admissions, but you sure do stand out. good luck =)

Brown- reach
Columbia-reach
UChicago- high match-low reach
Northwestern- low reach
UC Berkeley- hmmm I saw reach because out of state
Pomona- idk
Claremont-McKenna-idk
Williams-idk
Bowdoin-idk
Tufts-in
Reed-in
NYU-match
Whitman-idk
UCLA-hmm high match
Cornell-reach
McGill-idk

The only thing that I really think hurts you is your GPA…however you seem to have a pretty legit reason why it fell. What I would suggest is to include a note in your application explaining why your GPA fell (there might actually be a spot on the Common App), and most colleges will take that into consideration when viewing your GPA.

Your SATs scores really are not that bad, but if you wish to retake, do so Your ECs are fine, write a good essay, get good rec’s, etc.

Brown - reach (it is for everyone, I think the Brown summer thing might help a bit here)
Columbia - reach
UChicago - match
Northwestern - match
UC Berkeley - idk
Pomona - in
Claremont-McKenna - idk
Williams - low reach
Bowdoin - match
Tufts - in
Reed - idk
NYU - in
Whitman - idk
UCLA - idk
Cornell - low reach
McGill - idk

Mono lol. did you get it from sharing a soda with your dad?

umm… WOW! I definitely think that you’ll get in to Brown ED. Your ECs really match Brown.

If you havent already, talk to the coaches. Athletics has a lot more merit than you might assume (friend going to Columbia for fencing, full scholarship)

Interesting:

Based on your stats, I would say match, meaning 50/50.

But with stats making up less than 20% of admission criteria at Reed, it’s a safety for no one. Interview is important, essays very important, fit paramount.
