I can't commit to either!

I've narrowed it down to NYU and UCLA. During the admissions process I had my heart set on NYU. I visited the campus and liked it, but something was holding me back from applying ED. My biggest dream has always been to live in a big city (UChicago was my first choice but I was rejected). I recently visited the UCLA campus and fell in love with it-also the weather doesn't hurt. I think UCLA might be a better match for me, but it's hard to let go of that dream of living smack dab in the middle of a huge metropolitan area. I live in Texas so either way I am moving half-way across the country; how far away from home isn't a big factor. I also have no idea what I want to major in. If you guys have any pros and cons to offer about both schools it would be greatly appreciated. I need to make up my mind!

Hmmm... Well do you have ANY interest in business or film? Then i might lean toward NYU... And also, is money a factor? NYU is infamous for their bad financial aid (most people I heard from got 30,000 plus loans)

UCLA would be even worse, since you're OOS and it's a public school.

Personally, I'm biased towards NYU - would you really want to go to school with kids that paid $25,000 less than you and probably got in with less competitive credentials? Or do you want to rise to the top of your class?

Both schools are great, I prefer NYU but it's no doubt a tough choice. You have to decide what you like better..Los Angeles or New York.

Very different areas of their respective cities as well. Do you want a sports culture cuz NYU ain't got it.
