I can't decide which to send!

OK, so here's the problem. I've written two Common App personal statement essays, but I'm not sure which is better. One is more on the creative/humorous side, the other is much more the important personal experience type. I have concerns about both of them, but when it comes down to it, I like both of them. Unfortunately, that's essentially the response I've gotten from virtually everyone who's read both of them, though, so that's been no help.

I'm applying to primarily LACs: Midd, Bowdoin, Wellesley, Mt Holyoke, Conn College, Bryn Mawr, Swarthmore, Smith, Colby, and UMass Amherst.

Help?

I'm not applying to any of those schools. I'd be glad to help.

Happy to help.

ill read them just send them=]

PM me, I will probably finish reading it tmr and send you some feedbacks.. This is my first time reading essays on CC, so I suppose I can give some original opinions

Which one is the most personal, detailed, honest and revealing?

hey. im an 09er but im not applying to any of your schools. ill take a look if u need help

Thanks for all the interest! I'll send them along...my computer generally can't really handle converting documents very well, so I hope just pasting them into the PM is okay. So annoying, I know :(

Hope to hear back from some of you soon!

I will read them. Not applying. Already in College

I'll read them...I'm also applying atm (not to any of those), but I've pretty much finished my essays anyway (and I have faith in my writing ability).

I'll read them..I'm not applying to any of those schools.

I'm graduating in '09, but I'm not applying anywhere on your list. I'd be glad to offer my opinion!
