college advice PLZ?? I have a choice of Ithaca college, stonybrook, and hofstra university. I'm want to be an advertiser so i should get into marketing.do u guys no if these skools r especially good for business? ithaca is geared toward communications/advertising. stonybrook would be four years of awesome fun. I feel lik i'll fit in well there. i visted both ithaca's and stony's campus and i prefer stony's.ithaca made me feel out of my comfort zone. both ithaca and stony has the same tuition (10k). hofstra though has a dual degree program for business because i get a master's degree as well when i graduate in 5 years. 20k tuition. i haven't visited its campus tho. HELP?

I don’t have the feeling that a Master’s degree whtn you are 22 or 23 with no work experience is very valuable. I’d skip that and the higher tuition.

For the other two, pick what you think you’d like and will do best at and will teach you the most.

You seem to want to go to Stony Brook. Only you will know however if you want to go there for the best reasons. You say that Ithaca has the academics you want and SB has the fun. You don’t have to pay 40K to have fun for four years. Are you in fact having doubts about whether or not you’re ready to commit yourself to taking advantage of the opportunities with which college will present you? I’m not suggesting you’re having second thoughts, just asking.
