I have been accepted to the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando and the University of Florida (UF) in Gainesville. I want to major in journalism and minor in pre-law or political science. I have NO idea what to do. I have been dead set on going to UCF for the past few months and after being accepted to UF (surprisingly!) I have no idea what to do. My boyfriend of 2 years has been accepted and commited to UCF and as much as I try to put that aside in my decision process it is still in the back of my mind. I have been offered a great scholorship to UCF and it is looking very good that I will be accepted in the Honors college there. I love the idea of being a gator and I know UF has better academics but I'm not very comfortable in such a huge school. When I visited there I felt very lost ALL the time. At UCF I felt comfortable right away (before I knew my boyfriend was going there!). Can anyone help?

No one on here can tell you what to do, but based on what you've said UCF appears to be a better fit for you. Remember you're going to college for four years. Being a good fit in a place is essential.

Whether it being a good fit outweighs UF's academics is for you to decide.

Good luck.
