Interviews:

Princeton - ~1 hour and 30 minutes...it was nice b/c she was studying to become patent lawyer and she was researching compulsory licensing and my gov. project was compulsory vaccinations at the time so we had A LOT to talk about.

Columbia - didn't get one

UPenn - old guy in his sixties... couldn't relate as well but FWIW, he said "I will try my best to get you in" and gave me a business card

Cornell - she seemed more nervous than I was. We did have a lot in common (English as favorite subject, talked a lot about reading and writing)

Dartmouth - I am in acapella and he was too. We talked about how college experience can be enhanced and intensified in a setting such as dartmouth.

Yale - ~40 minutes...it was snowing and she had a newborn baby so we had to end it early but it was a good chat.

~3 weeks left...and I am just getting so anxious I thought I would post a chance thread...

I'll chance back. Appreciate it ! :)

I would say 88%

whoa marching band high five on that lol i was in marching all 4 years of high school. haha anyway princeton, upenn, cornell, yale- low reaches/high targets. Columbia probably a target, that school’s soo competitive though so it’s gonna be tough. You have really impressive stats and activities though (: idk enough about dartmouth to chance lol. good luck, i’m sure you’ll get into at least some of those schools

hmm…88% doesn’t seem right…

Also, keep in mind that my SAT score is superscored…meaning I have other sittings that weren’t as good.

What was your highest SAT in one test then? Still though dude, don’t downplay yourself those are some seriously kick ass scores.

my single highest sitting was a 2130…

Believe me, i’ve heard of worse

@ChandlerBing… yea like mine :frowning:
UPenn/Cornell/Dartmouth - Good Chance
Yale/Princeton- Not sure if your ECs are unique enough but your stats are definitely good enough

hmmm interesting. I thought my ECs were my strong point.

There’s nothing you can do. Relax, enjoy HS. Don’t kill yourself, and don’t get your expectations up.

Not the greatest scores or ECs. Yale, Princeton, and Penn will be tough. Columbia… maybe. Cornell and Dartmouth will be your best shots.
