I can't find a reply I posted to someone else's thread?

I’m new and don’t have that many posts yet, but I can’t find a reply I posted to someone else - it’s not on my list of replies and it does not show up when I try to search on words I remember.

I can’t remember the exact forum or user’s name - it was from a HS student having problems adjusting to boarding school. Is it possible the thread was deleted?

It must have been deleted if you can’t find your reply. Sometimes it’s not the thread that’s the problem, but the person who started it. He or she may have been banned and had their posts deleted.
