Denison, Wooster, Hiram, Ohio Wesleyan, Capital, UToledo, UCincinnati (but you missed the deadline for scholarships), Allegheny, Muhlenberg, Drake, Wheaton (MA), Goucher, Loyola Maryland, Ursinus, Simmons, Willamette, Illinois Wesleyan would all be possibilities.
@MYOS1634 Thank you! I’ve looked at those.
which ones did you apply to?
FYI - many of Ohio State’s branch campuses have dorms/student housing options.
You don’t seem to like any of the fine liberal arts colleges in Ohio (Wooster, Ohio Wesleyan, Denison, etc.). What about Ohio University? It’s smaller than OSU. I have heard it’s a lovely campus although it’s in a small town rather than urban.
I’ve been researching schools in OH, and I came across a school that looks great, Wittenberg University. It just sounds like it has a lot going for it. The only thing is that I wasn’t familiar with the name until recently. Maybe it’s more well-known in the midwest. I would definitely look at the website. It isn’t big, it seems down to earth and very wholesome. GL
Lately Wittenberg has had some issues with its endowment and they are cutting programs. Just FYI.
@“Erin’s Dad” Thanks for letting me know!!
@MYOS1634 I didn’t apply to any that you listed.
Wait I don’t understand: you say you want to attend school in Ohio but you didn’t apply to any of the best universities there? Where did you apply then, Youngstown?
@MYOS1634 None of the public ones worked for me and the privates were either too hard to get into with my stats/interests or religious and I want a nonsectarian school. I’m stuck going to another state now, but it’s okay. The new issue is finding another college I like.
Thank you anyway
