I can't find where to put...

Relatives who graduated from Princeton. There does not seem to be a spot to put this down on the supplement. Anyone find it?

It’s there, it’s always there. You’re just not looking hard enough.

Now that you mention it, I don’t see it either. I guess I never noticed because I’m not applying to any of my relatives’ alma maters.

Alma Maters are only mentioned in the very beginning of the Common App for parents. Some school ask how you heard of the school and that is a place that you can say your uncle went or your cousin goes now, but truly, only kidss whose parents ( and sometimes grandparents) graduated from the undergraduate program are considered a legacy.

There is an area at the very end of the CA that allows you to enter any other info you want. It’s in the essay section, I believe.

Found it. I had just thought there’d be a specific place on the supplement. Guess not.

So, basically, Princeton will see if someone has legacy status by looking at the general form, not the specific supplement?

It does seem strange, because Princeton is known for looking at legacy. And if done in this fashion, it is impossible to mention grandparents to them.
