I can't get my counselor form in on time through the common app!!!

<p>Okay so I was just wondering if my counselor would be able to send in his form for the common app schools (online) after the deadline for boston u, nyu, northeastern, and NYU pass because I am unable to get a hold of him since its winter break and only time I could remind him to do it would be first day of school (Jan 3rd) which is 2 days after the deadlines pass for these colleges!</p>

<p>I dont know what to do and am worried that I will not get to submit my applications to these schools...</p>

<p>Can anyone tell me what to do?
Or if its okay for me to submit everything in (including teacher recs) and have the counselor form be submitted a little later then the deadline?</p>

<p>Firstly, did you already ask earlier? If so, you’ll probably be okay, as colleges generally won’t blame you if your counselor was the one at fault. One of my friends had her Secondary School Report for MIT turned in eight <em>days</em> late. </p>

<p>That said, contact the universities directly, preferably by phone, and explain your predicament to them. Most will tell you that yeah, a few days late will be fine, and will give you further instructions. </p>

<p>Oh, and definitely submit everything else in.</p>
