I can't tell when a girl's flirting with me.

<p>So I work at this coffee shop. I was working today and this girl who's about my age came and ordered some coffee. She ordered and I gave her her total and everything, and I didn't think much of it. But let me tell you, she was like a 9.5 on a ten scale. </p>

<p>After I gave her change to her I used the purell by the cash register like I always do, and she noticed. Her face basically lit up, and she walked over to me, looked at my nametag, and was like "Cody OMG, you just used Purell!!! That's SOOOO Healthy!" I was thinking '***, she's weird', and was like "yeah haha." Then after my lack of response, she irritably rolled her eyes and walked away. </p>

<p>Then I realized how much I fail at life because I totally just could have scored.</p>

<p>How can you tell when a girl's flirting with you or if she's just strange? I feel like this happens to me ALL THE TIME.</p>

<p>And I think most girls are just naturally friendly/spontaneous/flirty. Maybe she was just extremely surprised that a male would actually attempt to kill the bacteria on his hands.</p>

<p>Uh I don’t think that was flirting. Based on the way you described her, she’s probably used to getting hit on all the time.</p>

<p>She was just disappointed that you produce the typical response to her flirtatious attempt. I mean most of the time when girls flirt they don’t even mean it. So I doubt anything would have even happened if you didn’t screw up.</p>

<p>No I’m sure it was flirtatious. Just that most of time when a girl flirts, she’s trying to mess with your mind. It’s just true 75% of the time.</p>
