i cheated

Remember also that the OP gets all "As", is bored because the classes are too easy for him and it's a crummy public school
obviously unworthy of the presence of the OP. So why,was our little genius cheating in the first place. Point being that this is not a person who knows how to build sympathy or show remorse. A little tough love might teach the OP some well needed lessons about actions and consequences. This OP does not appear to be a novice at lieing either.

Calm down Smurfette and Garrity.

The OP cheated and learned his lesson. Everyone has cheated in one form or another. If you say you haven't, you're saying bullsh.it

I agree that the OP should recieve some sort of punishment, but suspension and expulsion is too far. He's still in high school. He knows he made a mistake. Have you not heard the phrase "we learn from our mistakes"? I'm sure the OP won't cheat again.

Jman: Great advice! Let him get away with stealing lieing and cheating and false accusations to cover up and he will never do which one again?

Jman: If you really believe this was his first time, well then I hope he doesn't finger you the next time.

Where did I say let him get away with it. I said he should receive punishment, did I not?

Read my posts before you make false judgments.

What planet are you from?

How do you know if he is/isn't going to cheat again?

Trust me, if you were in the same situation, you probably would decide not to steal a test again. You're making this way too big of a deal.

Jman: No false judgments;he has already confessed to multiple transgressions! He also has bad-mouthed his school and proclaimed himself academically superior. This is not a sympathetic person.

Jman: You are way too emotional. You also misunderstand my posts. I'm trying to help the OP in a constructive and instructive manner. You are just reacting in an emotional manner. Earth is the answer to your sarcastic query.

Please continue. Obviously you know more about me than I do!

Jman: As you are from cocoa beach, florida, and close to NASA,maybe your asking what planet I was from was not intended to be sarcastic-just like the OP will really, really, really never do it again if his punishment is a tap on the wrist with a velvet glove.

Jman: No I do not know more about you than you do. I just know that you are reacting in an overly emotional manner to a very serious situation where the OP is seeking guidance.

I am from Cocoa, FL. Not Cocoa Beach, I'm not rich enough to live there. It is not very serious. Cheating is bad, but it's nothing to die over, geez.

But please, tell me more about myself....

Jman: You are a good hearted person, but an emotionally forgiving reaction is not coming the OP's way. Please do not encourage him to handle it emotionally and expecting forgiveness. It will only harm his handling of this very seriuos matter, and he will not grow from it as he should.

You are reacting way too emotionally to my posts. More about you? You are obviously a teenager with a lot of maturing to do.

Jman: You miss the point. This is not just cheating; he lied,he stole and now he is accusing another. Learn from Watergate, the cover-up is often worse than the crime.

I didn't realize one can learn so much from someone who posts on the internet. You obviously have a special ability. Maybe you are a psychic too? Care to tell me my future?

In all seriousness though, you are treating this like it's a felony. He stole a test ONCE. If he learned his lesson what's the problem?

Jman: It is a felony in many states because it was committed on school property.

The OP was stressed and depressed. You aren't in high school are you? You can't even imagine the pressure you're under.

So what do you suggest? He get the death sentence? Calm down.

Take a walk and clear your head, Garrity,.

Jman: I'm am going to sign off now. You are way too emotional, but that is normal for teens. The emotionalism affects your judgment. In a few years you will see this differently according to my crystal ball.
