I choose CMU over...

<p>I thought there were too many anti-CMU threads in here so I'm making a positive one!</p>

<p>I choose CMU over... WashU@SL, Rice, RPI (full ride)</p>

<p>Is this just for the class of '10 or can current students post too?</p>

<p>Cornell-CAS, University of Virginia, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, NYU-Stern, Columbia University, Vanderbilt and University of Michigan.</p>

<p>Oh and I don't know what you mean by negativity. The other thread shows a lot of kids WANTING to go to CMU over other colleges but the primary reason was aid/money. I feel really bad for the kid who had his dad call and was willing to accept over the phone if they got more aid :( If I was the office I'd have just given him the money.</p>

<p>Also lg merit at BU, GW, Villanova.... and Rutgers would have been next to nothing (sigh)</p>

<p>Carnegie Mellon = definitely worth it for him, it was a good choice.</p>
