<p>If you were accepted to either Berkeley or UCLA (or both) and you chose to attend a different UC post here saying which campuses you got accepted to and why you chose the one you did.</p>

<p>Anyway, being at the school for "UCLA and Berkeley rejects" (UCSD), there are quite a bit of people here who chose UCSD over LA and berkeley (myself not included). For example, 5 others in my suite of 10 people chose UCSD over UCB or UCLA either because of certain programs that rank higher, the location, or simply because they didn't like Berkeley, LA, or both.</p>

<p>Still doesn't defeat the fact that you got rejected from UCLA, in which according to the transfer thread that you posted months after turning in an SIR to UCD, did not get into UCLA on appeal since you wanted to transfer there eventually. This is pretty convincing evidence so, lets save us our Thursday cram time before our lovely 3-day weekend and don't defend yourself on that one. </p>

<p>And No, I didn't appeal to UCSD. I didn't really want to go there as much as I wanted LA at the time. And my original post stands, it's true. The fact that you found one of my posts saying I wanted to transfer means nothing...</p>

<p>What seems amusing to me is the college counseling Dmission must've received to go from getting rejected from UCLA ---> Wanting to go to Davis ---> Then appealing to UCLA and getting in----> to wanting to go to Davis anyway so he sends in the SIR....----> suddenly NOT wanting Davis anymore months after declining his appealed acceptance to UCLA and therefore makes a thread about transferring to UCLA, UCB, and UCSB---> Nevermind, he still likes Davis and he's happy with it.</p>

<p>Dude, I love how when you actually find good evidence through archive posts that take 10 minutes MAX to find... people "say get a life" as a defense. </p>
<p>Although if double majoring in two completely different subjects, retaining a GPA over 3.5, attending to labwork, organizations, and a sports club isn't a life then I have no idea what that defense even signifies. </p>
