My daughter received an email from a professor saying that students would need something called an I-clicker for the class. I guess it is used to do attendance and used for quiz purposes. Does anyone know where to purchase one of these. I checked the campus bookstore and they do not sell them. Any help would be appreciated.

Amazon sells them for about $25-$30. They’re pretty much an electronic scantron. It’s just a remote with buttons labeled A-E.

Don’t be in a rush to buy one because sometimes the professors arrange for a whole class to buy and set up the clickers during class. I think my son used the same clicker for a couple of years.

Buy the i-clickers during class?? I’ve never heard of that lol. Setting them up though during class, definitely.

There is a new program where you can rent an i-clicker for $30 (?) and then give it back at the end of the semester for your money back. I’m not sure of details, but fa-la might be.

Romani, it did happen. But that was before the rental of clickers.

^Oh yeah, ASMSU (in 3rd floor student services) rents out I-clickers for free. Just go there at the beginning of the year, pay a $30 or $35 deposit, and if you return the i-clicker functional you get your deposit completely returned. There is no reason to waste your money on one. Otherwise, if you want to own one yourself, go onto allmsu (.com) sign up and they post iclicker ads in the classifieds sections frequently (you can get one for $10-$20 normally, cheaper than buying it almost anywhere else).

Where is the student services building located on campus? (the place where i can get these rented clickers.
