So I’m an in-state student who applied for Early Action at CoE, but got deferred. I’m really worried about my chances because, reading the about the students on these forums and accepted UMich students in general, I’m not sure I have a shot. Some info:
My weighted gpa is 3.95 (unweighted isn’t on my transcript)
I took AP Lit and AP Calc last year and did well in them. But only AP Physics this year. I’m doing well in it but I’m worried my senior year course load is lacking. My SAT is 1320 (I know, you’re all pretty much 1500+ so go ahead and shame me). I’ve done a freshman sport and JV, as well as Orchestra, and had several jobs.
The main advice I’m seeking however is, which would give me a better shot with the courses I have taken: LSA or CoE? I’m 100% undecided on majors but Computer Science is a big contender. However, is it even possible to get into CoE with my grades? Should I switch before tonight’s deadline?
