Thanks for chancing me…Cal Tech and MIT are both reaches for you, though I wouldn’t say you don’t stand any kind of chance. About a 30% chance of getting into either, I think. And yeah, Georgia Tech is definitely a safer school. You’ll probably get in there.

if you’re looking for tech schools that are rather nice and would be low match/saftey:
Rochester Institute of technology
Worcester polytechnic
Virginia Tech
Northeastern
Rensselaer Polytechnic
to name a few… and you should be in at all
for GA Tech- you have a pretty good chance
but MIT/CalTech…pretty much a reach for everyone.
You might want to add two or three more safety schools just in case none of those three work out…
and Ill take my free beer now
=D
just kidding
lol

yeah you would definitely get a scholarship to some of them (I don’t really know too much about that scholarship recipients), but I don’t know how much. But with stats like yours you should be able to qualify for some financial aid. Compare your stats to the collegeboard.com stats, and if you are above the average, you should get some sort of aid.
hope that helps!

and i forgot one school- if you get in you get a FULL SCHOLARSHIP AUTOMATICALLY. but its insanely hard to get into (and its pretty small…do some research and make sure its the kind of school you could go to), its called George Olin college of engineering. It has amazing programs all of which are very highly regarded, but the people who get in are absolute geniuses.

Correct name is Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering. All admitted students receive full tuition scholarship, students pay for room, food, books, laptop computer.
