I-Day Report Times

Lola has 9:15 for I-day. How about the rest of you?

7:00 Am....

9:30. What is the earliest people start arriving?

I am so not liking that. That's 0330 MY time. Blech!

are the times random? or according to last names?

0830.......

do we get airline ticket from the naval academy?
or do we have to get our own?

I believe in your packet to report there is a sheet where you request an airline ticket.

0630 for me!
im pretty sure they're random

I wish it would have gone alphabetically. We would have had plenty of time to get up and get going. I'm going to have to get a new battery for the cattle prod to get everyone going in our family.

Our son has 7:30 report time-last name starts w/V so doubt it goes according to name as there are many reporting later.

im 0915.......

My report time is 0800

0830 for me too, gonna be barrels o' fun...

A word of caution...don't believe the parent's lists if they tell you to get there earlier than your report time. If you and everyone else does that, the lines will be long and stressful. Come at your report time and chances are you'll get inside Alumni Hall pretty quickly.

^^^That is so true! The report times are done so that the stations inside Alumin Hall will not get all backed up. If you get in line before your report time it makes for a very stressful day for those who follow.

That's good counsel. Thanks.

NURSEY! You will be back in bed sleeping by the time Lola gets in line.

Nope, nope, nope. Since he is in line @ the butt-crack o' dawn, I will be able to run to Starbucks (they have one out of one of the gates), get a venti with lots o' caffeine and get back. There's NO WAY I'm missing ANY of this. My husband can drag me drooling through everything, but I won't miss it. What would I have to scrapbook?

Plus, I'll be trying to recognize people. I'll be easy to recognize. I'll be hanging on to the boy's legs sobbing while my husband forcefully pulls me off, and my youngest is berating me for embarrassing him.

Anyone else @ 0630, or am I alone? He is so excited he's first.

^^^ will second that.
come at your report time- no need to arrive "early," even by 15 minutes....if your arrival time is at 7:30, come at 7:30..... the line will move quickly, but no need standing on it longer than you have to- (having said that, the arrival time is at ALUMNI HALL.... so be sure to factor in about 30 minutes to get from stadium to the yard on the shuttle bus)
best of luck everyone! enjoy every minute of "civilian" time you have left! :)
