Actually, all of my recommenders, if they included something about major, said I wanted to major in chem, b/c at the beginning of the year I did.

However, I am now applying to all my schools as an engineer major. What should I do?

I don’t think it’s THAT big of a deal. We’re still young, we change out minds, colleges know that. I told my counselor I wanted to go in as an English major and applied to many schools as undecided. I think it should be fine.

Bump! Any other opinions? Is there any action I should take or just let it be and continue writing my essays as if I’ve always wanted to be an engineer?

btw, I’m applying as a chemical engineer/undeclared engineer.
