I...deleted AIM.

Yeah I always told myself I'd do it and never did. And today I just got so disgusted with myself today for some reason, and just deleted it from the history for good. I hate AIM express, so I won't use that, and right now the urges are strong but not strong enough to re-install. What did I do instead . . . attended a really fun party, like a "real Friday" for once I suppose..

...
how long do you think I can last? I'm the kinda person that will stay up till 4 am or later on school nights chatting.
And not to be mean, but the mods make 'quitting' CC easy lately

Time to straighten myself out.

yeah, they do

I would suggest working out. Do workouts right when you get home and youll have a huge endomorphin rush for ur HW and by the time its 11:00 youll be dog tired andn unable to type

its what i do for weeknights

workouts before or after your SAT prep?
yeah that might work, when i was good, i used to run about 2 miles right after school, like take a change of clothes and just go immediately to the track with backpak and all, and then go home, shower and start hmwk.

I used to use these lame ass excuses that "oh im just a night owl", "oh i can just work it out and study the period before no big deal", and I think i realized i just can't continue like that anymore if I really want to go to any competitive school. i mean i guess other people can control it, but apparently i cannot and it was time to eliminate the "x factor", at least for now.

you know you're addicted when you feel kinda depressed about deleting it. :(

you will succume eventually and revert to your old AIM habits...you cannot deny the urges...

If I deleted AIM my text message bill would be like $800..

really?

i never got to aim with you...drat....or maybe that's a good thing...

i can quit anytime... :p

That's what I'm afraid of, man i hope this lasts at least till june 3rd after all tests are over.

leah, you could ....get unlimited text messaging for 5 dollars/month with most plans . .

ssssssssrrrrrrrrr where the hell have you been??? like you disappeared from hs life lol...yeah thats probably a good thing, i think that delaying people and making them stay up later too is not what you want.

martha - didnt you say it was like a 12 step process? haha looks like . . . i admitted i had a problem and went to step 12.

you can start your detox by deleting pms in your inbox, as well

Sigh you guys are addicted too much to AIM and Myspace.

i have too many pm's, it's constantly flooded =

yeah, huge sigh chuck, but myspace is kinda gay, i dont really care for it.

bah and imposter

That's me right there, unfortunately.

chucknorrisrules vs. ChuckNorris . . . . battle for the originaL?

kc, don't you think it's for the better though? at least till summer time, and then I guess i'll see where i stand. . . =

haha, if someone else told me this story, i'd totally be a hypocrite and would be saying "you pansy, anyone can control aim".

AIM = evil, and yet...I cannot stop myself. I need help. :( goes back on AIM chat

Yeah, it's definitely for the better. I'm just saying that I'm really addicted to it as well.

Go with the exercise idea. It really works, and after a few days you literally get addicted to that instead.

I was completely addicted to AIM a couple years ago, I mean I would stay on it for 6+ hours without stopping for food. I deleted it as well and i'm glad I did.

it's called "Self control."
