Chances for a white, male, florida resident, Dual enrollment student.

Hello, I am a florida resident and I was wondering what my chances are as I am ready to apply to my schools. Ill keep it nice and short. Also, btw I want to major in aerospace, aeronautical engineering.

Schools I want to apply to:
- University of Florida- LEGACY
- USAFA (air force academy)
- USNA (naval academy)
- Purdue University
- Penn State University
- Boston University
- UC- Irvine, San diego, davis
- UM-Ann Arbor

If you graduate high school, and have an associate's degree, are you sure that you'll be able to apply as a freshman, and won't be considered a transfer student? That could affect your chances - you may want to check with the schools.

I think (I could be wrong) that in Florida, if you have an AA you are a gauranteed transfer to a Florida public school. So UF would be definite for you.

you're probably not eligible to apply to college as a freshman and will have to apply as a junior (you have an AA or nearly enough credits) check with specific schools?

You're gonna have to pick an Academy because Congressmen aren't going to give you 2 of their recommendations. And they will both be reaches with those SATs.

Your SATs are low for BU. Have you looked at large state schools like Indiana U, Ohio U, Ohio State, Texas A&M? Of your list, U Florida, Penn State, and Purdue sound like good bets. I think that U Mich and the California schools will be hard to get into.

With increases in your SAT scores you'll have a shot at a service academy. Your sports, Eagle Scout and JROTC will be appealing. You should also consider taking the ACT next 2 times it's offered. Many students actually do better on this test and the academies will look at the best subscores in your tests. This can lead to a higher composite.

You are in at Florida and Purdue you have good chances at getting in, but i'm not really sure if you are a match for purdue. The rest i have no idea. Could you respond to my thread also please.
