So applying RD puts you at a huge disadvantage.</p>

<p>Definitely a shot to get in, but like everyone else has said, the Ivies seem to be random with who they accept. I know someone who got into Yale and Harvard but rejected from Dartmouth, so you never know. The unweighted 91 is the only real eye opener for me, you might have gotten a few more B’s then Columbia would like to see. I hope you get in!</p>

<p>@ those who say my GPA is low, I 100% agree. The thing is, I had a lot of medical problems my sophomore year, coupled with high anxiety from transferring schools. In the end, I missed 36 days of school, had 11 tardies (for medical appts), and 8 early dismissals. My GPA sufferred significantly. My freshman year GPA was high (3.86), my junior year was high too (93 UW, 105 W with hardest course load in my grade). My counselor will explain all of this in my rec, so hopefully it wont be overlooked but maybe forgiven.</p>
