1190 is my highest score. 1200 superscored. I didn’t do any subject tests because I thought it’d be a better wager to take the real test and get a higher score. (big mistake!) Looks like I put my chips on the worst bet
If you are a senior it would be challenging if not impossible to study for/retake the SAT and show great improvement AND study for and do well on three SAT II exams. (The SAT II exams are also “real tests.”)
—Gtown “strongly recommends” applicants take 3 subject tests and you seem to have taken none https://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/firstyear/preparation
Per the common data set (which you can find for any college by googling XYZ University common data set)
https://georgetown.app.box.com/s/3azkfk30zxabxqccj0osp0lrhhy2p1s9
–Gtown views standardized tests as “very important” in the admissions review process
–Your SAT scores are well below the 25th percentile for the school
–Gtown accepted under 15% of applicants last year. http://www.thehoya.com/georgetown-sees-record-low-acceptance-rate-class-2022/
If you are not an academic fit for Gtown then move on to other schools that are better for you. If you like the Jesuit aspect of Gtown there are many fine Jesuit colleges that are less competitive in terms of admissions. Many are also in urban locations if you like that about Gtown.http://www.ajcunet.edu/institutions/
I think you need to look at other schools.
what’s jesuit?
If OP doesn’t know what Jesuit is, it’s safe to assume the Jesuit aspect of Gtown is not important to him/her. Also, no offense OP, but Gtown is out of your league. You need to find some schools more in line with your stats and proceed accordingly.
If the OP doesn’t know what Jesuit is then he/she has not done enough research on Georgetown (it is on the first page of the school’s website) and did not take the time to look at the website I included in the post above.
