<p>ah yeah when i was in like 6th grade and we had to pick a language i chose french and my father flipped bc he said it wasnt practical, etc. so then i ended up going to a school where you have to take latin in 7th&8th grade, then for HS i chose to take spanish.
turns out i suck at foreign language (or.. more likely... i have no desire to learn it bc i dont think i should have to speak a foreign language, especially spanish, in my own country where the national language is english. but anyway.....) so spanish III honors was the end of that nightmare lol</p>
<p>I picked french. I did that becasue I liked the way the hot French Teacher pronounced the Rs. </p>

<p>Spanish is the #2 language in the country, if you live in the US ofcourse... so studying spanish is definately not a bad idea. French, on the other hand, is alright, but think - - which one will you use more in life?</p>
