I didn't get an A+ in AP Chemistry...

I didn't get an A+ in AP Chemistry... after getting 100% in both first and second quarter. I got an 85% on my midterm. I'm so mad... I have like a 97.3% something for first semester. I need to get a 98% to get an A+.

How is this going to affect my admission chances? I've applied to all top 25 colleges, intending to major in science.

■■■■■? I hope so

You’re going to have to retake the course over the summer. Make sure you send in a letter to each of the 25 colleges stating this, so they know you’re not a complete failure.

Chances are pretty much nonexistent now, sorry dude.

Looks like your going to have to get the McDonalds application insted of college application.

Have you considered community college?

I don’t suppose AP chem is given a final grade at the end of the year. If so, you have two quarters and a final test to get the coveted A+.

Also, how well you do in AP chem decides the rest of your life, but no pressure.

Why did you stop at 25? Maybe some still have rolling decision.

97.3%!!! My goodness did you sleep through the entire semester. I can’t believe you would even post such a disgraceful grade for the public to see.

Don’t even bother…

@An0maly,

Your going in the wrong direction with your post.

No, it won’t make a difference. Many colleges consider an A an A no matter what. I understand though where you’re coming from. At my school an A+ is also a 98% and I’m paranoid about it too. The way I see it, an A+ may help you but an A won’t kill you.

^
haha, I like how this person actually took the post seriously.

Oh, man… This is real bad.

One of my friends was the valedictorian, had a 2400 SAT, and a whole ton of other ECs, as well as being a National Merit Scholarship recipient.

He got an A in AP Calculus BC.

The board rescinded his scholarship and he was instantly rejected from every college he applied to, even Cal State Dominguez Hills. He attended community college, but was promptly kicked out.

He had a double legacy at KFC, so he worked there and slowly rose to the rank of assistant manager of a small restaurant in Oklahoma. He died at the age of 21 from choking on a Slim Jim… The put his body in the fryer and pretended that it was chicken. Somebody ate him.

I can envision a similar fate for you, you poor, poor soul.

^ Most post ever.

Sorry, dude. You’re out of luck. Try landing an acceptance at Donald Duck University. They might still take you.

^Or Hamburger University.
(Actually exists, as a school for McDonald’s employees.)

the world is coming to an end…
