I didn't get my language class!

<p>I did not get French 140 which I would really like to have. I have been diligently checking PennInTouch but no spot has ever opened up in any French 140 class let alone the two sections of it that would work with my schedule. I have read elsewhere that in a situation like this a person's best bet is often just to show up to the class hoping that somebody drops. Seeing as there are only 16 people per French class I was just wondering what were the odds that if I did this, a spot would become available. </p>

<p>Definitely go to the class. The professor might even be kind enough to write you a permit and let you take it. I know a lot of professors are willing if you are dedicated enough to go to the class. And who knows, someone might even drop once classes start!</p>
