<p>so i wanna get into 1) MIT 2) Harvard, and maybe yale, princeton, stanford, columbia, cornell, caltech??</p>

semi-competitive public school in NJ
currently a junior; graduate 09
top 10 in class / 400 people
taking 5 APs now: physics b, calc bc, us history, biology, and english
gpa: around a 4.4 as of last year (honors classes weren't weighted freshman year)</p>

<p>test scores::
SATs/PSATs: don't know yet. will know by the end of december (PSATs). yet to take SATs. will probably be 220-240 tho?
APs: AP EnviSci (5) so far
SATIIs: 800 Biology M, 800 Chemistry</p>

<p>clubs/teams::
formed a cancer awareness club (first year)
origami club (2 years so far)
science olympiad (2 years so far)
future physicians club (3 years so far)
Varsity Girl's Tennis 2nd Singles (2 years so far) - Conference Champions 2006, runner-up 2007

NJSL Biology 2nd place in state (1st place team)
NJSL Chem 6th place in state (3rd place team)
NJ Science Olympiad regional/state medals (1st place Ecology Regionals, 1st place team, 6th place state)
AMC10 school winner (blah) competitive mathy school tho, we had like 35 ppl make AIME and 3 ppl make USAMO

what Summer Programs do you think I would be interested in?

<p>pretty crazy stuff. But being asian doesn’t help (doesn’t it suck being asians? I mean, there was a time when affirmative action HELPED us!). Hey wait a minute, you’re a junior! what the heck! I thought you were a senior! In that case, you have a pretty good headstart. keep it up and you’ll have a chance. The reason I say “chance” is that nobody ever knows for sure if they could make an Ivy. I’m glad I don’t have to apply against you. I might get rejected because of you… :)</p>

<p>It’s pointless to say that you hope to make USAMO. So assuming you don’t, you probably won’t get into MIT due to the lack of prestigious awards. But if you do, MIT will/should take you.</p>

lol yeah, i’m a junior, so i have a full year to do stuff :slight_smile:
and i said i was asian cuz i wanted ppl to take thta into consideration, knowing that it’s harder to get into college cuz i’m asian. </p>

well ur credentials definitely outbeat mine i think if u do well on ur sats u’ll have well a heck of a better chance than me haha
anything at the national level is realli impressive tats wut im aiming for for fbla this year keep up the good work!</p>
