I didn't realize I had to fill out the CSS profile...

I just got a letter in the mail saying I have to fill out the CSS if I want financial aid. I submitted the FAFSA mid-January. Do I have any chance of getting financial aid now?

call their financial aid office tomorrow morning and plead your case. it may just be a “priority” deadline but you need to get going ASAP

Thanks I will tomorrow. I submitted it this weekend and have an apology letter going out tomorrow as well. So hopefully I’ll get something…

Not only do you have to fill out the CSS but also some IDOC ********

I don’t think Lehigh asks for anything through IDOC.

For us, Lehigh wanted the full IDOC type packet sent directly to the financial aid office at Lehigh NOT through IDOC. It was due 2/15 for us. So CALL the office and find out WHAT they want and HOW they want it by WHEN. Good luck

For us, the FA website clearly states what they want by 2/15. I just fax the stuff to the FA office and we never heard anything from them since.

[Lehigh University: Undergraduate Admissions: Tuition & Financial Aid: Apply for Financial Aid](http://www4.lehigh.edu/admissions/undergrad/tuition/apply.aspx)

If IDOC is needed, Lehigh will advise you. It is only needed in certain cases, and not for the majority of applicants. It is typically used when they feel they need to validate information on the CSS Profile and FAFSA. Most scholos have a random validation process where they pull a certain percentage of files for validation. Lehigh uses the IDOC documentation process for this, some other schools have their own validation forms.

When I was going into freshman year I filled out the CSS profile a week or so late (didn’t know it existed either!) and I got full aid. You should be fine.
