I didn't receive my NMS letter until after the deadline!

I went to a boarding school in the fall, where I took the PSAT. This semester I transferred to a normal public school. The boarding school was supposed to forward all of my mail to my house when they received it. I got a ton of mail today, including but not limited to my NMS letter.

A paper from the school had been stuck into the envelope saying that anyone receiving the letter could make an appointment with their college counselors because college decisions were due on May 25- which shows me that the school knew what the letters were for. So wouldn't it make sense for them to forward it to me IMMEDIATELY?

It makes me so mad that they waited until the summer to send this to me when they knew good and well when the deadline was. Now I've missed the deadline. I really don't know what to do.

Don’t worry about the deadline since it does nt mean much at this point except to show your interest in specific schools to be notified you are interested in them.

You will have additional opportunities when you are named as NMSF or whatever designation you fit to nominate schools again.

That wasn’t a real deadline. College decisions weren’t in may for juniors. However do let nmcorp know that u now go to another school.

I didn’t even receive a letter and my counselor didn’t know about it, even though we have 20+ NMFs every year. Any help?
