I didn't take any SAT subject tests. Am I doomed?

Long story short, I had some family issues and did not end up taking the SAT subject tests as I had planned. I should have been on top of it and in the end, it is my fault. However, I want to apply to schools like Georgia Tech, UC Berkeley, Rice, and Georgetown. I have an SAT score of 1400, which isn’t the greatest. I am just hoping that my lack of SAT subject scores won’t be a huge disadvantage for me. Thanks

What are the requirements for these schools? If they don’t require subject tests, you’re fine. If they do, contact them about your situation.

Georgetown highly recommends 3 Subject tests

Are you a Senior? If so, the UCB application is closed as of Nov 30. If not, then you have plenty of time. UCB only recommends Subject tests, but to be competitive it is in your best intetests to submit them if possible.

You will probably not get accepted to Georgetown without the subject tests.

Plenty of schools do not require subject tests. Vanderbilt, Northwestern, University of Illinois Champaign, etc.

^ Northwestern depends on which program.

correct, I assumed not engineering and not the advanced science program

Definitely depends on the major, although I know friends of mine who got into all those colleges (except Georgetown) without subject tests.
