are u in lit or in lang. im in lit and i seriously need some help if im going to get through the exam. i did get two review books, the princeton review one and the 5 steps to a 5 ap lit and those have practice exams in them (you should get one if you haven’t already). i took a few and i have improved a bit but my essay writing needs a serious makeover.

lol I HATE ESSAYS! bUT, I’m doing language & composition…so I’m pretty F$#@ked up.
like im not so scared about mc bc they r mc but da essay,:(.

i have princeton, 5 steps, barrons, and kaplan and im just using 5 steps and princeton too…hopefully i can get a 4

It doesn’t take much to write a very solid 5 essay for AP english lang.

The only prerequisite is though that you’re a native english speaker and that’s the only language you speak at home/daily.

With every essay think about the idea that “Everything is an argument”

So when you write an essay your purpose is to convince. Then you know if you’re not convinced it won’t be a good essay.

Write simply and concisely. Don’t use grammar monster sentences and superfluous language.

And just practice on a daily basis whenever you use language… “like im not so scared about mc bc they r mc but da essay,” be correct now and you’ll write correctly during the exam.
