I don't get scholarships. Need Desperate Help.

<p>I keep hearing from classmates that they have to "apply for scholarships, but I just wonder...</p>

<p>I don't know what school I'll end up going to, and I don't know what I even want to major in, so I don't think there are many specific scholarships I can apply to.</p>

<p>I don't understand - can a $200 scholarship from Fastweb or a $1000 one really help when college costs are in the tens of thousands?</p>

<p>And, if so, is Fastweb a good search engine or should I try other places?</p>

<p>Every penny counts. You can also get more than 1 scholarship. Not all of them are based on school/major.</p>
