OMG so I’ve submitted my application and made the BU Web account to log in to see my application status and stuff. I just noticed now that they said 2 Required SAT Subject Tests.

I only have 1 Subject Test (Math 1c) which I took for fun and decided to submit it.

I’m in sort of a similar situation. I’ve asked if you can take in January and have yet to hear a response. I’ll let you know when I do. If you cannot take that I would not say your “totally screwed.” BU will look at your application even if it doesn’t not have 2 subject tests, it just might not be as competitive as other peoples’. But I think if you had good stats and only one subject test you’d probably be fine.

It is actually not fine. You missed one portion of the application, and for most colleges (I don’t know about BU in particular) your application is counted as incomplete and won’t be looked at.

I’d take a subject test as soon as possible and submit it.

there is a possibility that you can take the january sats (subject test) and have that sent directly to the school. do not wait to see your scores before submission. for most schools this is acceptable. do not leave this undone as your application will be seen as incomplete. you will probably have to be standby for when you register.i wouldn’t loose hope so easily.

^also if you have ever taken the acts, you can send those instead. they can take place of your sat subject tests and you will not be marked off for an incomplete application

The Jan Test date is the 22nd. After I take it, is there a way to send it immediately to BU or must I wait for the score to come out, then send it electronically?

Should I e-mail the BU Admissions?

Is there any alternative way, because in some schools, they allow you to replace your SATII with AP scores, or something similar.

Q: I didn’t take the SAT Subject Tests; what can I do?
A: The only thing that can replace the SAT Subject Tests is the ACT with Writing test. If you have not taken the SAT Subject Tests, or the ACT with Writing, your application will still receive a complete review by the Board of Admissions; however, it may be less competitive in comparison with students who have completed our application requirements.

did you take the ACT with writing? If you did you are fine. If you didn’t take the ACT with writing or subject test then you will only be considered for the college of general studies (CGS).

I just contacted BU Admissions, and they take Jan SAT scores.

But the thing I’m wondering is that I currently have a SAT Subject Math level 1 , and if I took the SAT Math level 2c, would it cancel the first Math level 1 score? Or can I send both SAT Subject math scores?

no it would still count as another subject test. but i’d advise taking another subject (unless math is ur major). to send your scores directly you use the free score reports given to u once you register for the jan sats. u list bu as a school and they receive the scores as soon as scores are avaliable
