I don't have enough extracurricular activities.

It's kind of the twilight of my high school career (I'll be entering twelfth grade this year) and I have few extracurricular activities. I started being home schooled in eleventh grade and was trying to get things settled. Also, I had social anxiety disorder (bordering on agoraphobia) which prevented me from doing many extracurricular activities. Should I tell people that in my application?

What I do have...
SCAMEA Chorus - 9
High School Chorus - 9, 10
School Newspaper - End of tenth grade, beginning of eleventh grade (amounting to a few months altogether)
Debate Team- a few months at the beginning of eleventh grade
Volunteering at my church (helping with cameras and lights) - 9, 10, 11, 12
Church Community Group (11, 12)

So as you can see, the only things that are really noteworthy on there (school newspaper and debate) I only have a couple months experience with. HALP!

I wouldn’t.

I disagree…if you’re a good writer and don’t try to be all woe is me about it, i can see potential for a kick butt essay there.

I would not mention this disorder because it might come off in the wrong way. Remember that EC’s are not the most important thing. You need your grades/test scores.

uh… who cares if you don’t have a lot of EC’s. that’s only one part of the application. make the most of what you have is what i always say.

once you submit that application, don’t worry about it anymore for a couple months. just hope of the best. good luck ;)

Can you become an officer or anything in those?
Otherwise, i wouldn’t worry too much, as you do have some stuff (:

You have enough. They’ll understand that you were homeschooled.
