IS NYU CAS OR STERN (INVESTMENT BANKING IN GENERAL) A possibility???

you are crazy about taking math II.... just because it has a nicer curve doesn't mean you will get a good score. you still have to actually know the material..... but disregarding that

I'm going to be really, really bluntly honest with you.

First, your plan of applying to CAS and then switching to Stern is ridiculous. Every year, there are students who try to do that, thinking that because they're in NYU CAS it'll be easy to transfer into Stern...it's not. Transferring into Stern is really hard in general, and it's not easier because you're in another NYU school. If you somehow manage to get into CAS, it'll still be extremely difficult to transfer.

NYU CAS is a high reach for you, because of your low GPA/SAT. Your EC's are below average too. Soccer/Model UN is good, but if the newspaper thing lasted a month, it means nothing, the Debate team thing is also good because it shows leadership on your part.

Let me be REALLY blunt and please don't get offended. When I applied to NYU, it was a big reach for me. My SAT was a 2130, my GPA was 3.5 UW w/8 AP classes, I went to one of the best public HS's in the country. I was undecided and got placed into LSP, and that didn't surprise me, because my stats were below average for NYU. I encourage you to apply if you really love this school, but I'm in LSP and I'd say your stats are wayyyy below even the average LSP student. It might help if you're from a very small poverty stricken country and not many people from your country apply.

and why would you start talking about miracles...the mid range of SAT scores at NYU starts at 1820...im like 70 points below that...i dont understand you people sometimes

Firstly, NYU really only considers your math and reading section. For that, only around 25% of students have a 1310 or less (a number of these are Tisch students who have an amazing other talent, or students through the HEOP program). If you take your score, you would have a 1090, which is 220 points under that figure which would probably mean that perhaps the lowest 1-3% of NYU students have those scores, and as I said previously they're probably in Tisch or HEOP.
Even if we throw out the SAT, NYU's average accepted GPA is 3.6. Typically those with lower than that compensate for it with their SATs or some outstanding thing (such as with people in Tisch or those with amazing ECs), The reason why we say it's a miracle is that you're in the low 5% (if that) for both GPA and SATs. It's extremely tough to get into NYU just at the low 25% of their ranges in just one category---doing it at the bottom 5% in both categories is unheard of.
