I know compe and ee are basically the same but what I’m scared of is the job outlook and how’s it’s going to be when I graduate, I’m currently wanting to do EE becuase I want to invent stuff and test and be able to build stuff but also I want to program them so I can make them do what I want Idk how job outlooks on compE and I would major in it busy scared but would it just be easier to major in EE minor is CS. I don’t care about money really as long as I have enough to provide and I want to love what I’m doing. HELP!

Hahaha, relax! I’m -almost- in the same situation as you. I also stuck between those three options, but I´m likely going to choose CompE. Thing is, the first two years of most engineering majors are generally the same, especially in the case of EE and compE. The fact that you’re considering engineering means you have a certain affinity towards math, and since you like to program, go for CompE. Even though it’s more of a hardware approach, you’ll still learn the basics of programming.
As for job prospects, computer scientists/engineers are needed -everywhere-. From a small business to a large multinational. You’ll have plently of opportunities. Just remember, it’s the PERSON that companies want, not the major. Be the best at what you´re doing and you’ll make a great living!
Good luck!
