i dont have a clue i just really dont know what i want to do and i dont know what to focus on for my ECs cuz i just dont know what i want to do and i am afraid that the colleges wont accept me saying i dont suit this or that major... blabla
i will be a senior next year and i will be starting my applications this summer but if i dont know what i want to do yet, how am i going to write essays like Why this and that major

<p>Most college freshmen and sophomores aren’t decided either. Don’t worry – I know of no essays that ask a 17 year old to speak about intended majors.</p>
<p>^However, it should be noted that for a lot of the colleges I was applying to, they asked very specifically why I wanted to be an engineering student. I don’t know if this is the case for students applying into general studies, but if you want to be admitted into the engineering school/departement, you should have a pretty good grasp of what you want to do and why, so that you can write a 250-500 word essay on it.</p>
