I don't know what schools to look at or apply to

I am a rising senior, I live in New Jersey and want to major in chemistry. I am looking for schools in my area (NJ/NY/PA) that are good for this major and that I have a good chance of getting into. (I will list my information below.) I have already visited some state schools like TCNJ and Rowan, but besides the NJ state schools, I really need some direction as to where I should look and where I should apply. I know there are a lot of good schools in the area but I just don’t know where I should look or where I have a realistic shot at getting accepted!

What is your budget? How much can your parents pay for 4 years $$$ amount? Will you required financial aid? Need-based and/or merit?

You will have some good opportunities once you explore a little. For clarification, do you necessarily wish to remain close to home, or would you consider schools throughout the states you mentioned?

I will consider schools in the states I mentioned

You would be solid for Union, and their academic programs are well suited to your interest in chemistry. Should you like what you discover about Union, then you could look into some of their peer schools as well.
