<p>i've been rejected from 3 UC's already, Davis, Santa Cruz, and Santa Barbara. and i got rejected to san diego state. im so scared because i thought for sure i would have been accepted to at least ucsc. im just waiting to hear from UCI but im betting its another rejection.
my backup is csumb, i really dont want to go but i think it would be better than a cc??</p>

But at least for UCI there is still a bit of hope.</p>
<p>Transfer really depends on whether you want to or not. Are you willing to go there for 2 years and then transfer?</p>
<p>Personally I wouldn't, as student i think i worked way to hard taking AP classes, taking the SATs and everything else.</p>

because although school is important it doesn't make you as a person, its the end of the road you should be looking at.</p>
<p>From what I've read, it appears that this year if you were rejected from all UC's you applied to but are UC eligible, you will get accepted to UCR or Merced whether or not you applied.</p>
<p>Keep in mind all but Cal and LA are taking fewer freshmen this year. And that more kids will attend state schools because of the economy. So getting in is much harder with this double whammy than it was even last year.</p>
