I don't know what to do...

Okay, so a little backstory. I got all A’s in all honors courses my freshman year (last year), except for French I which was an ACC course (I still got an A in). So as of right now, I have a 4.8 weighted GPA. I signed up for French II next year, which is also an ACC class. I decided that this summer, I was going to study for the French II test and test out of it. I took the test last Tuesday, and it was actually pretty hard. I missed looking over some stuff about culture which took up a big chunk of it and procrastinated a lot of my studying. I ended up with a B on the test, which would go in as a B on my transcript. My weighted GPA would drop to a 4.5. Now I’m not sure whether to reject the credits and take the course again next year, accept the credits and take a different course, or get tutored for the course and get the A (which costs ~$1200 dollars and I’m not sure is an option). This is my course load for next year with and w/o French II…

H Precalculus
H US History I
H English II
H Chemistry
AP Bio
ACC French II/AP Stat
Accounting (elective that have to take so I stay in DECA)

Help! I’m not sure what I’m going to do.

I wouldn’t worry so much about your weighted GPA as your unweighted. If you do well in AP Stats you should be able to make up for it, but once you get a B, you will break your 4.0. Maybe you could take French II this year and skip French III next year since you have more knowledge on what to study.

If you are a sophomore in pre-calc, you might as well wait to take Stats until after calculus, or there might not be anymore math to take. If you aren’t majoring in a STEM field, you usually don’t have to take calc 2, and even if you are, your high school might not offer it. I would just save AP Stat for senior year, and re-take French. Also, accounting is awesome!
