<p>Communication majors aren’t necessarily the best communicators. Lit majors aren’t necessarily the best writers. </p>
<p>Honestly, if you’re talking about verbal communication and speaking skills, I don’t see the benefit of doing a communications major.</p>
<p>Join a speech club instead.</p>
<p>Lackofsense- Most often “business”= advertising/PR for Comms. majors.</p>
<p>Communication Studies is underrated. It annoys me when biz econ majors complain about how hard their major is to get into. Boo hoo.</p>
<p>P.s. Graduate studies include usually either business school or TV/Film.</p>
