U of Cincinnati DAAP (graphic design) is supposed to be a very good program, but I didn't really like the whole area, school, campus, or dorms that much.

I am also considering DePaul because I really loved the campus, and I really like how it's in Chicago. However, their program is not a top program, and it doesn't seem very specific at all.

I don't want to come out of college and not know what I'm doing, but I want to love the school I'm at. Which one should I choose?

I don’t know much about either but one of my teacher’s daughters went to U Cincinnati for graphic design also because of their good program. I’m guessing you’d get greater opportunites going there because the daughter know works at a very well-known architecture/design firm in Chicago.

The majority of programs will provide you with a sufficient education to know what you are doing. That isn’t likely to be an issue if you apply yourself diligently. Have you considered other schools? Are these two your only options?
