I don't know what to do.

So one of my teachers who was willing to write me a recommendation hasn't yet. I don't think she will by today either and I've turned in my EA application already. Is this going to count against me? I submitted everything else (application, supplement, & fee) already.

Also, It says:

(Orange box) Supplement: Submitted (Date: 11/01/2009)

Why does it have an orange box, if I submitted it? Is that normal?

The payment line has a red down arrow but also says it's submitted. I thought it was suppose to turn green?

I am just stressing out :(

your teacher should have until Nov 15 to submit the recommendation.

No idea about the orange box but its on time as far as its deadline goes.
-i would open a ticket for that

same w/the payment, my payment has a green arrow and says "Payments: Submitted (Date: MM/DD/YYYY) "

-click on help and email the common app w/your problems, they respond very quickly

I emailed them earlier with a similar question. Their response:
Thank you for your message. The symbols on the My Colleges page in the Common App may not be correct. Please only use the information beside application/supplement/payments/school forms as this is the correct information. We will be fixing the symbols soon and apologize for any inconvenience.

yea symbols r often incorrect. common app staff says to follow the words

but they do prefer all materials, including recs, to be postmarked by nov 1st.
however, dont worry about it now, just get it in asap

then you are probably fine, i would take their advice and ignore the symbols for the time being

as long as your supplement and common app are submitted now you have until november 15 to work things out

i know it sucks when somthing goes wrong…

Thanks everyone!! You guys saved me from having a panic attack :D
