I'm a white male from Mississippi, and I'm trying to hammer down a list of colleges to apply to. I want to work in the Foreign Service or something similar in the private sector, but I don't necessarily want to major in anything related to that. Basically, any major that's not a math or science. Or business.

I know I'll get into the University of Mississippi+Honor's College and probably the Croft Institute for International Studies, but I know I can do better.

Academics-

GPA: dunno on our 4.0 scale, but I have above 100
Rank: Definitely top 5, maybe 1 or 2 out of 320

Scores-
ACT- 34 (35 best sitting)
SAT- 2190 (770V 710M 710 W) math is so low because I took AP stats last year, but I'm taking precal/trig this semester so it will go up in october
SAT IIs- 790 USH :) 700 Lit and Chem :(
PSAT- 220, so I'm a NMSF
APs: Euro, USH, Eng. Lang, Stats, Chem- all 5s. This year- US Gov, AB Calc, Macroecon, Eng. Lit. Other Honor's classes when possible

ECs-

-Heavily involved in Forensics. 1000+ points, VP this year
-Mock Trial Captain
-Other meaningless clubs
-I'm doing our schools two year independent research program. I've been working on a poli-sci/history project with a professor for the past year and will end up with a 60+ page paper and 400+ hours of working time.
-Went to TASP this year, Governor's School last year

(I do lots of other stuff that won't come up in the admissions process, so if this list looks short, its because I took out the fluff)

Subjective:

I know I'll have at least one "best in career" calibur teacher rec, and the other will be good. My counselor's new this year, but I've introduced myself and she seems nice.

I wrote well enough for TASP, but I'm having a hard time getting started this year. Essays will be good to great.

I'm definitely applying to Georgetown SFS and Chicago EA. Other than that, I'm lost. I'm looking for:
-Prestige. If I have to pay for college, I want a good reputation to come with my diploma (Ole Miss would be free). I don't see the point in paying 40000 for a school like Pepperdine or GWU.
-No suburban schools. I know this is weird, but I want to go to college in either a small town or a large city.
-Good study abroad+language programs
-Good financial aid for middle class students. I fall in awkward income bracket were my parents might be able to afford 35000, but not without epic lifestyle changes and I'm not going to make them do that.
-More than 3000 students
