all right well i got accepted to northeastern university in boston, boston university, new york university, and geneseo. northeastern offered me $20,000 a year which is pretty decent, but i much rather go to boston university even though they offered only $8,000 a year. i want to try to bargain with BU and ask for more money, but i feel like if they don't i'm going to end up in geneseo which i know is a great school and all, but i had my heart set on being in boston.

i really don't know what the better deal is here. northeastern for around 35K, BU (if i get the same amount as northeastern) for 35K, or geneseo for 12K?

Geneseo at 12k.

Seriously, where are you going to come up with the difference of more than 20k between Geneseo and the other places? Please, please, please don’t end up with a bunch of college debt that you can’t pay off!
